It looks like your smart phones and tablets are about to get even smarter and a little faster. For the comparative processing power it looks like mobile devices are set to become even more useful away from a desk (or couch) with the announcement of the current snapdragons (found in the current nexus 4 talkie sticks) big brother being penciled in for release into mobile devices some time mid 2013, the Snapdragon 800. It's said to encompass a Krait 400 quad core processor that can scale each of its cores core up to 2.3Ghz.  On the integrated GPU side the 800 looks a bit like this:

There's also a Snapdragon 600 which looks like this:

- Quadcore krait 300 (upto 1.9Ghz)
- Adreno 320 GPU
- LPDDR3 RAM.
