Better presentation?

So someone was saying there's a trend for kids in India to buy expensive DSLR's, take pictures and create websites with their names and watermarked names all over the pictures to then consider themselves professionals? I'm glad someone can afford expensive D-SLR's to start out with since I'm still working with a so called "entry level" mirrorless compact system for the moment. The last time I properly used an SLR camera was when they still used film rolls in them. But the question is, am I do...

Craigslist con protects fraudsters via the data protection act

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Saturday, May 18, 2013, In : Just a thought

Craigslist, I'd never had the miss-fortune of crossing it's pages before until I decided to try and pick up a bargain on a new talkie stick to sell on off the back of a recommendation. But to cut a long story short I got scammed out of 275 quid.

Things you should know

Your credit card will only cover you for fraud on purchases made directly with your card. It won't cover you for purchases made with cash widthdrawls or the smooth transaction of payment through the purchase and handing over of Am...

Is it really all about sex? (...not this again, I'm not sure its religions fault and I'm sure I did this before, I don't think I have the answer you were looking for but...)

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Sunday, May 12, 2013, In : Just a thought
Physical Sex for most women with a guy is not about sexual gratification like it is for nearly all guys, that's what they've had to just accept. But from what I can gather woman can orgasm just as quickly as the quickest man/men if you work the clitoris and labia in an appropriate way and the mood is right. Not too unlike a guy.

Put it this way, if we guys could not orgasm from having sex, we as guys would see little point in sex to begin with.

There'll also be certain women with a slightly hig...

Someone seemed to get the impression that I was religious or something, but to be frank I wouldn't really say I was. I'm not a religious person, and I neither big up or dis religion in the general sense. Most modern people of religious inclination that I've encountered from general observation are actually quite passive and peaceful. However it's just that it's quite easy to bash passive religious people based on most religions proven documented historical past. In recent times the play-out o...

"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." (...the Buddha??!)

Hitler and Napoleon were angry little men, look what they managed to do before their eventual demise, evidently many others drank their perceived poison whilst they exacted their revenge for all the things they perceived as being the cause of their contextual plight.

Also if the above were followed to the fullest extent things like apartheid would still exist today and I very much doubt people would have had the freedom to even choose to seek wisdom in Buddha's words.

Are you sure...

Just a note if you're wondering where the "tried and tested" gadget section to my site has gone... (...if not then just ignore this)

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Thursday, March 14, 2013, In : Just a thought
I'm not sure what happened to the "tried and tested" section of my site. I was actually in the process of removing all the generic images that I'd used found from the web to replace them with newly shot pictures of my own. However something dodgy was going on to cause the site to jam having replaced the first few of the images on the blog roll. After which I tried to duplicate it to a new renamed page and delete the old one to get the tabbed link back up that was maybe linked to other locatio...

Sex trafficking seemingly a concern in western parts of the world too (not just a bandied about issue just for show in many developing regions of the world)

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Monday, March 4, 2013, In : Just a thought

It's interesting when people try to turn the spot light on sex trafficking and slavery of sorts. But from experience there are many that talk the good talk as if they are part of the movement trying to alleviate such issues in a specific part of South East Asia as well as maybe other parts of the world. But from certain observations the very culture and system they exist within and discretely (there must be a reason for the discretion) harness without a second thought as part of the societal ...

I don't understand how these crap corrections they make (which are just wrong) are able to be propagated right across the board from my local onenote application notes, within another copy of them held in a separate basic text document and also on my blog on my actual website too all at the same time in a unified manner. This is despite checking them several times even before posting.

Ever since I started my website such corrections are made by somebody else that make me sound like a foreign e...

I was casting my mind back to the couple of days leading up my trip back to the UK, mainly for reasons of the contrast of general vibe aside from the madness that was driving my up the wall caused by the incessant indirect one way interactions from complete strangers that felt they had some right to say/shout whatever they pleased to/at me as if they had somehow been previously acquainted where ever I went whil...

Who makes this kind of stuff up and who decides what colour means what??!

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, In : Just a thought

Lets look at this scientifically in the purest terms of their properties.

White light contains all colours/colour frequencies except for black. Black technically isn't a colour at all. It only appears black because the chemical properties on the surface of any object that appears black indiscriminately absorbs all light/colour frequencies which gives the black appearance.

You can test this by passing white light through a prism which splits light up into all its composite colours which we ot...

Surprise us! Call the next OSX Simba... (...possibly funny and at the same time just wrong). They could also go onto name every release after that after one of the lion characters from it. OSX name shortage problem solvedApparently the story behind the picture goes that the first time lioness mother didn't know how to breast feed. 4.30 am with some random urge to go down and feed the dogs some left over's from dinner. But what turned out to be a well intentioned gesture turned to a weird session of latent seething discontentment towards them teetering on the edge of restraint. The path next to the house reeked of dog urine and feces despite looking brilliantly clean under the florescent energy saving light bulb, but no doubt a UV sweep of some kind would show the place covered in e-coli bacteria.  Although still tiny ...

Universality of human rights and standards of living? (… what do you perceive as true suffering?)

Consider this, there is an Amazon tribe that has pretty much remained isolated from the outside world and still remains this way even to this day bar a few of those visitors from the outside world that actually visited them. They still continue to practice the very same primitive ways of life unconcerned by the outside world within the Amazon rain forest.  They have little desire to change their societal structure or even be part of the westernized outside world. It might be worth considering from time to time that our star is not the only star within the almost infinitesimal scales of the universe. They'll also be a number of them that will have a solar system capable of supporting life in some form or other.  There will be many that have existed for millions of years even before our own. It would be naive to think that "intelligent" life beyond our own didn't exist before ours, and you don't have to be a paranoid conspiracy theorist to be able to r...

What is it to be Cambodian?

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Monday, May 21, 2012, In : Just a thought

Am I Cambodian other then what's expected of me because of who my parents culturally are and where they came from? But it might be worth considering that a large portion of feeling Cambodian is to do with the culture that is identified with.

I can't speak for the generation just before mine as they will generally have a stronger sense of affinity with the place before the collapse of stability in the place known as Cambodia. But if I were to be perfectly honest despite the expectation and who...

I randomly decided to visit Second life on the off chance the other night, I've not been in there in over a couple of years having first stumbled in there 7 years ago. Has SL really been running that long?! It only seems like yesterday when I first wandered in there and even then from what I could gather the whole SL thing had been going for quite some time even before that. I also noticed my profile was still saying my personal site was www.dna-nowhere.com since I used to own it many moons ...

It's not quite how many would think (...it's a little different from this side in my humble opinion)

I'm not trying to ruin the dog food by raining on the so called "do gooders parade" here as some arrogant short sighted people who believe they're above and beyond all of this might arrogantly phrase it. That even includes sections of people still quite  close to such poverty stricken situations themselves believing they're some kind of "feline" which I also find somewhat ironic and intriguing as to how they might have this strange outlook given their actual circumstances. In the sense that ...

Judy and now Ron

So much for getting rid of the dog as it now seems we've been lumbered with yet another canine of the same breed as the last but only this time its male and a little larger although still dwarf like in proportion. Its apparently called Ronny/Ron which I thought was a very un-Cambodian naming convention for a domesticated dog out here, I initially thought she was pulling my leg but it actually responds to it. I guess it goes with Judy. I used to watch my little sisters play DS ...

What's the story? The possible biological purpose of "morning glory"

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Saturday, May 12, 2012, In : Just a thought

I'm not actually talking about the morning glory flower but I thought I would just stick it there anyway since its a little more tasteful then having a picture featuring a tort stiffy and bed head there, but why do many men wake up in the morning with an erection although they might not necessarily actually be sexually aroused?

Under more regular circumstances where erection is achieved through arousal there is a muscle that contracts on the urethra that stops urine from  being able to pass...

I generally try not to get tangled in the whole extended cat vs. dog thing when talking about people despite others or they themselves trying to place themselves as one or the other since people are just that, people and not dogs or cats to my mind. But its only recently that I've had to kind of live with pets of both the feline and canine variety and certainly not through choice. I always used to think I was a dog person if it ever came down to owning some kind of pet for their almost innoc...

At the most fundamental level is it an instrument or a product of an instrument?

Posted by Eksovichea Tito Hak on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, In : Just a thought

Software that is replicated and produced for one specific purpose regardless of the laws and regulations surrounding its reproduction is different. Since the end product is exactly the same with no unique variation (or relatively very few variations of the core item in the purest terms for slights of deployment scenarios). This is true whether it comes on a physical medium or as software download only regardless of the laws that govern its perpetuation. Once the operating system is activated...

There are certain species of monkey and ape that never really made it down from the tree tops which has also kind of been suggested as a possible reason to why they might not have actually progressed beyond a certain evolutionary point. That and a limited scope of exploration due to certain obstructive geographical factors that apparently help to limit their territorial spread and propagation as a species.

Maybe it was coincidental that the type of monkey that eventually became Homo-Erectus ...

I'm usually more of a passive observer in the whole climate change vs. global warming debate which is down to the fact that I'd spent most of my time in a place which for now could be considered to be a more temperate region of the world. About the only thing that I'd experienced were a few abnormally warm summers in the few years toward the end of my stay in the North West of England and declines in the  frequency of "White Christmas' " despite them pretty much being quite a regular occurre...

Interesting food for thought, I'm not the most well read person or even a head shrink by any measure but it was an interesting idea to mull over. This is not meant to be any type of attack either but just an idea to consider against an established notion that seem a little flawed as I read it that people seem to just maybe accept.

I guess its all down to individual circumstances and factors that surround each case, but I'd be inclined to go with the thinking that there is no cookie cutter so...

Cambodians being racist towards Cambodians??! (WTF?)

Ok, I guess its not racist for a Cambodian to be knocking another Cambodian for having a darker complexion since they're obviously of the same race. However within the Cambodian culture there is a general preference for lighter complexions as far as the perceptions of beauty is concerned amongst Cambodian people, which could lead to prejudices much in the way that ginger people might be subject to amongst caucasians. But I can see how this might extend to race in any external capacity if it ...

Quantum particle entanglement?

Some people might better know this as part way in explanation to achieving particle teleportation. But in more simplistic terms its where one sub-atomic particle seems to effect or be linked with another sub-atomic particle of similar properties at various distances apart whether that be miles or meters. which they sometimes refer to as paired particles.

But had people thought to consider the high velocity multi-vector movement of everything within the expanding universe? Could it be that our...
