What is the underpinning of a wannabe/actual DJ's wants desire within their actual immediate purpose and task when working a dancefloor/crowd? When can a DJ say they had a good night and can go home satisfied that they did what they were supposed to do within their particular style and ability? What causes a DJ to have a bad night?
Now ask me again what the problem was and now tell me what it is you don't understand. Sure there's the potential trappings of superstardom and fame, but all that would be a little empty if you couldn't do what you were supposed to do and wanted to do as a DJ. I think for most it was probably to try to do what ever it was that happened to them on the floor having been bitten by the club bug for the first time ever all that time ago amongst willing adults that want to be there.
